Payment and Billing Terms
The legal terms governing orders, payment authorisation, billing results and delivery of paid Farvis services.
1. Scope and relationship with other terms
These Payment and Billing Terms apply when you purchase a package, service credit or other paid Farvis feature. They form part of the Terms of Service.
The checkout page or written order controls the specific product, quantity, price, currency, tax, included benefits and validity period. These Payment and Billing Terms control payment matters, and the Terms of Service control all other use of Farvis.
2. Order creation and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the item shown at checkout. An order is accepted when Farvis issues a successful order confirmation or makes the purchased benefit available to your account, whichever occurs first.
A payment authorisation, pending payment message or temporary bank hold does not by itself mean that Farvis has accepted the order. Before acceptance, we may reject or cancel an order for an obvious pricing error, unavailable product, suspected fraud, legal restriction or payment failure.
3. Products, prices, currency and taxes
Before you submit an order, the checkout page or written order will identify the purchased item, amount, currency, applicable taxes or tax treatment, payment method and material usage or expiry conditions.
You are responsible for taxes that the law requires you to pay unless they are stated as included. Your bank or payment provider may separately charge currency-conversion, transfer or other fees that Farvis does not control.
5. Payment result and confirmation
A payment may be successful, pending, failed, expired or cancelled. A pending result is not a completed purchase. The authoritative Farvis result is the order status shown in your account or a confirmation issued by Farvis after the payment provider reports completion.
Payment-provider or network delays may postpone confirmation. If the result is uncertain, do not repeatedly submit the same purchase; check the order record or contact us with the order number. We may correct a status that was recorded incorrectly, while preserving benefits already required by law.
6. Delivery of packages, credits and paid benefits
Digital benefits are delivered to the Farvis account identified by the accepted order. You should promptly verify the package, credit quantity, usage rules and validity period shown in the account.
Service credits are limited units for eligible Farvis services. They are not legal tender, stored value, a bank deposit or transferable property, and they have no cash value except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Usage and expiry follow the checkout disclosure and the Terms of Service.
7. Failed, reversed and duplicate payments
A declined, failed, expired or reversed payment does not create a right to receive paid benefits. A temporary authorisation hold may remain visible until your payment provider releases it.
If the same valid purchase is charged more than once, contact us with the relevant order records. After verification, Farvis will reverse or refund the duplicate amount through the original method where reasonably possible. We may withdraw benefits delivered for an unpaid, reversed or invalid order, subject to applicable law.
8. Fraud monitoring and payment holds
Farvis and its payment providers may assess account, device, location, payment, transaction-velocity and service-usage signals to prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised transactions.
A higher-risk order may be declined, delayed or held for proportionate verification. We may request non-sensitive supporting information, restrict the affected transaction or account, preserve evidence and report conduct where legally required. We do not disclose detection rules that could enable evasion.
9. Cancellations, refunds, chargebacks and disputes
Eligibility, request steps and processing expectations are governed by the Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy and any mandatory consumer law. Cancellation does not normally reverse a service already delivered or used.
Please contact Farvis before initiating a chargeback so that we can investigate an incorrect or unauthorised charge. We may provide the payment provider with relevant order, confirmation, delivery, account and support records. A good-faith dispute will not result in retaliation or limit any non-waivable right.
10. Third-party payment providers and data
The payment method available to you may be operated by a third-party bank, wallet, acquiring institution or payment processor. Its own user terms may also apply to the payment method it provides.
Payment and transaction data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Subprocessor List. Farvis is not responsible for a failure caused solely by your bank, payment provider, inaccurate information or a network outside our reasonable control, but we remain responsible for obligations that law does not allow us to exclude.
11. Records and billing enquiries
Keep your order confirmation and promptly report a suspected billing error to starlightinternet@yeah.net, including the account identifier, order number, date, amount and reason. Do not send full card numbers, passwords or security codes.
Farvis may retain transaction, fraud, refund and dispute records for accounting, security, legal and limitation-period requirements, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these Payment and Billing Terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version presented for an accepted order continues to govern that order unless a change is required by law or is more favourable to you.
13. Governing law, courts and contact
These Payment and Billing Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.
